17.    Press on the Next option to go to the new window.

18.    Wait until the updating process gets complete before pressing on the Hide Updates option.

19.    Go through the checkbox linked with the update which you wish to hide.

20.    After that, press on the Next to advanced option for hiding the chosen updates by going to the Windows Update.

•    Do a System Restore

1.    Click on the Windows and R keys together

2.    This will launch the Run prompt box.

3.    Enter the “rstrui” in the text field.

4.    Click on the Enter option for opening the System Restore wizard.

5.    Press on the Next option.

6.    This option is located in the System Restore wizard.

7.    Press on the checkbox linked with the Show more restore points option.

8.    Choose any restore point.

9.    Press on the Next option.

10.    After that, press on the Finish option.
